Nina Grimmelman Wagner
In West Haven, Dec. 18, 2003, Nina Grimmelman Wagner, 85, wife of Frank B. Wagner of Trumbull St., West Haven, mother of Elaine Swirsky of Orange, Nina Ellison and Carol Martone both of Guilford. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by sisters, Arleen Hoey and Edna G. Redfield. Nina was born in Hempstead, Long Island, NY, Jan. 28, 1918, a daughter of the late William J. and Othillia Jensen Grimmelman. She was a graduate of Stone Business School, was a longtime member and Past Matron of Easter Star OES # 34 of West Haven and Past President of the Danish Sisterhood of America and a longtime member of St. John by the Sea Episcopal Church. Memorial service Sun., Dec. 21, 2003 at 6 p.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave. at Court St., West Haven. Eastern Star service at 5:45 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's by the Sea Church, 546 Ocean Ave., West Haven, CT 06516.
