  1. A GREAT BROTHER & FRIEND, HE WILL BE MISSED BY ALL THAT KNEW HIM OR WERE TOUCHED BY HIS PRESENCE. I WILL MISS HIM FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. YOUR SISTER, EVA

  2. Dear Helen and Family: I am deeply sorry for your loss. My prayers and thoughts are with you! God Bless…..

  3. Hernandez Family, I was shocked to hear of your loss. May Norbert rest in peace. He was a friend to everyone that came into his company. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this terrible time. Bob Weronik, Maloney High School – Class of 1986

  4. Hernandez Family, I’m deeply sorry for your loss. One thing that I’m reminded of is the bible account of John Chapter 11 of Lazarus, Jesus’ friend. There Jesus, visibly touched by the situation, told his sister that Lazarus will rise again and in front of many, he performed that miracle. By extension, that we too would experience that same joy on the last day (John 5:28,29). What a wonderful reunion that will be!! My sincere wish is that: .the peace of God that excels all thought…guard your hearts and mental powers… Joey Lopez-Hernandez.

  5. I am so sorry for your loss. A lot of lives were positively affected by Norbert. May you all be blessed by the Lord during these trying times. Till we meet again. Steve

  6. I am so sorry for your loss. Norbert was a great friend, brother, and son. May memories keep his spirit alive.

  7. I do not have a day that I don’t cry. My heart is broken. We spent every minute together when we were not working. My son misses you so much. I try not to cry when he talks about you but I am not strong enough because we did everything together. I know you are up in heaven but we had the greatest love ever I can’t believe you will never be back for me and my son. We shared a very special love and to know that I will never have that again it makes me cry so much. I wonder why god would take you from me so soon I love you so, so, so much. I miss you baby and I want to thank you for a love that I never experienced before You were a true love, always and forever. Thank you for loving me and my son so much. We miss u so much. You were the best baby and we had so much fun together I’am so lonely without u. God Bless u in heaven!! Will miss u forever!!!!

  8. I feel priveledged to have had the chance to know Norbert, he was a true and loyal friend. I can easily picture his smile back at MHS, and am glad to have had the chance to see him recently, in the role of a loving Uncle to his nephews at St. Stan’s.

  9. I had only met Norbert a couple of weeks ago during a Maloney High School classmates get together but was touched by his great personality and humor. I am glad I got to meet you Norbert. I liked you the second that we met. I wish I could have gotten to know you better. All of your friends speak so highly of you and only have kind words to say about you. May you rest in peace.

  10. I remember Norbert from my earliest school years. Though I haven’t seen him since high school. He’s a sweet guy and will be missed. I wish you all sympathy and peace for your loss.

  11. I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to the Hernandez family for their loss of Norbert. Norbert and I grew up together and I considered him a good friend. As we got older we did not stay in contact as much as we should have, but just thinking about him brings back all of the good memories of us going out, playing sports, and just having a good time. I can even hear him making fun of me, which I think he enjoyed doing the most. Norbert was a good person and will be missed by all his friends, but never forgotten.

  12. I would like to pass my condolences on to the family of Mr. Norbert Hernandez. In my short time of meeting the acquaintance of Norbert, I could tell how much happiness he gave to Shari and especially my son Jaden. My special recolection was the first time I met Norbert and he told me what a special child I had in Jaden. I am sure he will be missed by all of his family and friends but he will live on in the hearts of all that he touched. Freddie T. Morris Newington

  21. Norbert was a truly special person. Everyone who knew Norb was touched by the same thing – his great smile as well as his special gift to make others laugh. His big heart will be missed. In this time of sorrow, my thoughts and prayers go out to Norb’s entire family as well as to Shari Morris, who I recently met, and her son Jaden. I still can’t quite believe Norb is gone. I know I haven’t seen most of you in a long time but please know that I will always remember our times together. Norb, you will always be in my heart for being such a kind-hearted and wonderful person to be around. As my first love, I will always love you and cherish our wonderful memories together in high school as well as the great time we had just a couple of weeks ago when I saw you for the first time in 18 years. It was as if time had never passed. You were the same kind and funny guy I remembered. I am thankful for that night together with you and Shari as well as many of our friends from Maloney. That night was special and I am glad that it will be my lasting memory of you. Norbert, I was glad to see that you were so happy and doing well. May that continue on in heaven. 23. Norbert was part of my extended family in that his sister Helen is married to my cousin Billy. Hence, Norbert and I saw each other at every major family event and holidays. He was a good person. He was a loving brother, uncle and friend. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Losing a loved one is always hard. The grief never truly goes away. The only comfort during these trying times is the fact that Norbert WILL ALWAYS live on as we see him in the eyes of his nephews and the smile of his nieces and sisters, and in the hearts of his family. God bless.

  24. Norbert you will always be in our hearts and prayers. I met you over 16 years ago and from day one I knew you were great guy and a better friend, I’ll miss you.

  25. Norbert, For the 20 years you’ve been in my life I thank you. You had a kind & caring heart. You always supported me and gave me courage to do so many things. We had so many happy memories and also bad times, but we got through them with hope and faith. Not a day goes by that something doesn’t remind me of you and I cry but I think of you telling me to be happy for you because you’re in a better place. We were in a good relationship and still had a good friendship which we were there for each other no matter what it was. You will be that special man who holds my heart and soul forever & always. I’d like to express my heartfelt thanks to all of the family because without you being there for me & showing me so much love & support I wouldn’t have the strength to try to move on & cherish all the times being part of all of your lives. He was truly a genuine person, with a unique personality and a great sense of humor. May the Lord allow his peace to reign in your hearts in this difficult time, and may God’s greater will be revealed to you and yours and comfort you with the truth that Norbert knew Jesus and had a relationship with the Almighty.
