Olga Konopacke Pope, 80 of Woodruff St., Hamden, wife of the late Warren Pope, Sr., mother of Diane P. Richard of Guilford, Warren L. Pope, Jr. of Plainville, CT and Daytona, FL, Rev. Arthur K. Pope of Deep River and Plainville,CT, Robert R. Pope of Hamden, sister of Henry Konopacke of North Haven and the late Albert Konopacke. Also survived by six grandchildren. She was born June 4, 1922 in New Haven the daughter of the late Adolph and Augusta Koenig Konopacke. She was a warehouse clerk for McKesson-Robbins where she worked for 20 years retiring in 1980. She was a member of Union Local 443, she was the first woman to retire from the union. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, New Haven for over 60 years. Funeral service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Orange and Wall St., New Haven, Thursday, November 14 at 11:00 a.m. Friends may call Wednesday at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden from 4-8 p.m. Burial will be at a later date.
