Ona L. Capecelatro

Ona L. Capecelatro, age 96, formerly of Orange, passed away on May 14, 2016 in Hamden. Born in Metropolis, NV on April 8, 1920 she was a daughter of the late J. Carlos Lambert & Laura Seymour Lambert. Ona was predeceased by her husband Ettore S. Capecelatro; her daughter Marta C. McLean; her son Alfonso J. Capecelatro and siblings Wendell Lambert, Marta Jean Ridd, Darwin Lambert, Ruth Wood Barrett and Joyce Jordan. She is survived by her daughter Grace Castellazzo & her husband Arthur of Goodyear, AZ; her brother Owen Lambert of Sandy, UT; grandchildren Nicole (Chris) Larizza & Lauren (Dave) Ploeger & great grandchildren Gabriella, Isabella, Anna, Evan & Phoebe. Ona served in the US Army Nurses Corps during WWII. She was a resident of Orange for many years before moving to Woodbridge. Ona was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Friends may visit with her family on Wednesday, May 18th from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at BEECHER & BENNETT - TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave, West Haven and may attend her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM in the funeral home.
