Palma Giordino

Palma Giordino, 88, of 51 Worth Ave., Hamden died Saturday, Dec. 27, 2003 at Brook Hollow Health Care Center in Wallingford. She was the widow of William Giordino. She was born in New Haven, March 4, 1915, daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine Mastroianni Campochiaro.She is survived by a daughter, Johanna Wilson of Hamden and son and daughter-in-law, Andrew and Regina Giordino of Cheshire, sisters, Esther Raffone of Norton, MA and Violet Capuano of Hamden, a brother, Joseph Campochiaro of Ft. Meyers, FL, grandchildren, Janessa Mangi and Johnathan Wilson both of Brooklyn, NY, Michelle Luba of Torrington, Christopher Giordino of Henford, CA and Peter Giordino of Cheshire. Also survived by three great-grandchildren, Jordan Rose Mangi, Quincy Rain Mangi both of Brooklyn, NY and Kaitlyn Michelle Luba of Torrington. Mrs. Giordino was predeceased by sisters, Mary DeRose, Leonetta Petriccione, Sylvia Campochiaro, Edith Ferraiuolo, Grace Bavolack and a brother, Salvatore Campochiaro. Funeral service and burial will be private at the convience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Save the Children, 54 Wilton Rd., Westport, CT 06880.
