Born in:

Resided in:
East Haven, CT
In loving memory of Patricia Fitzgerald Dymarcik, who passed away at the age of 82 on December 16, 2023. She was a cherished sister, life partner, devoted mother, and beloved grandmother, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her. Born on August 6, 1941, Patty spent her life spreading love, kindness, and her own special wisdom.
Her nurturing spirit and unwavering support were the pillars of our family. She dedicated herself to creating a warm and loving home, where laughter and shared moments became the fabric of our lives. Patty was not only a source of strength but also a beacon of compassion to friends and strays to whom she opened her door, her heart and built an extended family with. An avid gardener, she found joy in arts and crafts, and her enthusiasm for singing in the church choir was as beautiful as the voice that rang out.
Patty is survived by her sister Lynne, her daughter Alexandra and son in law Jim, granddaughter Ayla, and grandson David. Though her son David and husband Dave have passed, their memories will forever be treasured by those who knew them.
In the later chapters of her life, Patty discovered a deep and meaningful companionship with Garry Doering, a remarkable person who touched Patty’s life with his kindness and warmth as her devoted life partner. Together, they shared joy, happiness, and especially laughter, forging an enduring love. Patty’s spirit shall live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind, and that her love for Garry be a comfort to him, a person to whom she so dearly treasured.
Although she is no longer with us, her love, and the enduring bond she fostered, will continue to resonate.
A memorial service to celebrate Patty’s life will be held on December 23, 2023 at 10 a.m. at the Church of The Holy Spirit, 28 Church Street, West Haven. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405.
May she rest in peace, and that the memories of her kindness, laughter, and love bring comfort to those who mourn her passing.

My condolence to the family and to Lynn
Patty was a wonderful-caring person with a beautiful voice to match. Her church choir missed her voice in song as well as her fun-loving personality.
My thoughts and prayers to the family, Garry and all that knew her. She will be missed.
I very special angel a woman that has been in my life for 15 years she’s been my adopted mother ,my sister, my confident, my partner in crime a shoulder to cry on and a strong support system in every sense of the word it was through her that I found my way back to God and that I found my way to Church of the Holy Spirit-West Haven and gained a wonderful extended family. You taught me what life was really all about sure we didn’t always see eye to eye but we had some good times together many Good times she was always there to give me that kick in the butt when I needed it and that tough love she was the strongest most determined obstinate wonderful person one could ever want or need in their life there will always be a hole and avoid in my life. you will always remain in my heart and my thought always and forever but you’re with your baby boy now and your husband and you won’t have any more suffering or pain I’ll always love you and miss you Pat. You’ve done more for me in more ways than anyone can ever imagine in these 15 years than anyone has in 63 years rest in peace my sweet love you may be gone from this Earth right now but you will never ever be forgotten and we’ll see each other again someday.
