Trumbull - Paul B. Hastey 77 of 716 Fairchild Rd., died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2001 at his home. He was the husband of the late Roby Taft Hastey. He was born in Rutherford, NJ, May 18, 1924 a son of the late Paul Ernest and Beatrice Brown Hastey. He served in the US Army during WW II in the Philippines and received several medals and ribbons. He was a graduate of LaFayette College and woked in sales for the Rexnord Corporation. He was a member of the Shennecossett Yacht Club of Groton. He is survived by a son and his wife, Paul and Staci Hastey of East Hartland, CT, two daughters and a son-in-law, Holley and Marc Phelan of Trumbull and Roby Hastey of New York City, two brothers, Graham Hastey and John Hastey of Staten Island, NY, a sister, Audrey Hand of Grass Valley, CA, four grandchildren, Emmy Ingalsbe, Alison Ingalsbe, Brooks Ingalsbe all of Niskayna, NY and Jack Hastey of East Hartland. A funeral service will be held Thursday, Aug. 30 at 2 p.m. at Center Congregational Church in Meriden. The Rev. George True will officiate. Burial with military honors will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements under the direction of BEECHER & BENNETT FLATOW FUNERAL HOME, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden.
