Paul S. Francis

MERIDEN - Paul S. Francis, 71, of 719 Hanover Road, died Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2003, at his residence. He was the husband of Geraldine Limmer Francis. Born in Hartford on Dec. 12, 1931, he was the son of the late Willis and Eleanor Killiam Francis. He attended Meriden High School and Cheshire Academy and was a graduate of the University of Maine. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and until his retirement, he was employed as credit analyst at Howe Furniture Company in Trumbull. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church. Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Charlene T. Francis of Meriden; a son, Kevin L. Francis of Cromwell; four grandchildren, Paul L. Francis and Kevin M. Francis, both of Cromwell, and Shelby N. Korb and Alyssa L. Mroczka, both of Meriden; a brother and sister-in-law, John and Janice Francis of Meriden; two nieces, Carole LaBissioniere of Middletown and Joelle Francis of Meriden; a nephew, Bill Francis of Meriden; and dear friends, Janice, Gene and Angie Barillaro of Meriden. The funeral will be held Friday, Feb. 28, 2003 at 7:30 p.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT FLATOW FUNERAL HOME, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden, CT. The Rev. Perry L. Beaver will officiate. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
