  2. My name is Annette Pegues. I would like to express my deepest sympathy to each of you. Often times, many wonder as to why death happens? They feel that in time God will provide the answer. Through his word the Bible He has given us the reason why. At Genesis 2:16,17 it states: And Jehovah God also laid this command upon the man: .From every tree of the garden you may eat to satisfaction. 17 But as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad you must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die.. Also at Romans 5:12 it states: That is why, just as through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned-. So here the above Bible texts helps us to understand that due to the disobedience of the first human couple, this is why we suffer the heartache of losing our loved ones to death. Even so, our Heavenly Father has promised that the day will come in which all those in the memorial tombs (graves) will hear his voice and come out. (John 5:28,29) He promised too, that He will swallow up death forever and wipe away the tears of sorrow from our eyes. (Isaiah 25:8; Revelation 21:1-5) We can look forward to his words being fulfilled, because at Titus 1:2 it says of God that He cannot lie. It is a gurantee that all his promises will come true. May each of you continue to find comfort in Him during this difficult time With Sympathy, Annette
