Pok Sun Hanlon

Pok Sun Hanlon, of Hamden, wife of the late Charles E. Hanlon, passed away September 24, 2017. She is survived by a son, Kurt Hanlon and his wife Tracy, a daughter, Kim Buck and her partner Bernard Pace, Jr., a brother, and a sister, Cho Yeoun Sim, both in Busan, Korea. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jordan Hanlon, Chloe Buck, and Charles Hanlon, and her fiance Joseph McDonagh. She was known to her friends as Su. She enjoyed going to the casino, her pets, and gardening. Friends may visit with her family at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden on Wednesday, September 27 from 4-7 pm.
I had the honor of meeting Su several times. She brought joy to everything around her – her family, friends, plants and animals, and particularly her fiance. I hope that wonderful memories warm the broken hearts of all that knew her.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this sad time. I’m sorry for your loss.

Joe, I just learned of your fiancee’s passing at the meeting Tuesday evening. I am also sorry that I did not attend her wake yesterday but just learned of it today. Know that I am thinking of you and please give my condolences to her family.
