Priscilla Mae G. Hauser, age 80, of Hamden, died peacefully on January 22, 2018 at Masonic Hospice in Wallingford. Born in New Haven on April 19, 1937, she was the daughter of the late James & Veronica (White) Greene. Priscilla was the widow of Albert G. Hauser, her husband of 45 years. Priscilla is survived by her daughter Kristen Murphy, her husband Sean and their children Patrick and Ryan Murphy of Cheshire; her sister Lois Longobardi of South Dennis, MA, her daughter-in-law Linda Hauser and her children Melissa Hamilton and Bryan Hauser and her great-granddaughter, Kayleen. She was predeceased by her brother James Greene of Mattapoisett, MA. Priscilla lived in Hamden most of her life. She was formerly employed at the Sears Store in Hamden, Novametrix in Wallingford, and Apex Pharmacy in Hamden. Priscilla always enjoyed vacationing with her family on Cape Cod. Her funeral will be held on Friday, January 26th at 9:30 AM from BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden followed by her Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 AM in St. Bridget Church in Cheshire. Burial will take place in Beaverdale Memorial Park in New Haven. Friends may also visit with her family at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.

  3. Priscilla, my longtime friend How many memories I have of our friendship, working together at the same companies, and travels together. Washington DC, , Canada, Cape Cod, Ma. (frequently)- three Cruises to the Islands, Puerto Rico, California, and sunny Hawaii. We met personally with Dean Martin in CA while he was filming his Matt Helm movie series. We met and dated two men who worked on set construction for the movie Bullitt, starring Steve McQueen. Of course, I am dating myself with these memories, because the younger generation reading this will not know most of what I am stating. Then, the best day of your life, when you met the -love of your life-, your future husband. Priscilla, I will miss you. Love, Barb

  4. My deepest sympathy to the loss of Priscilla Greene Hauser. Priscilla was one of the SND .gang. at St. Mary’s High School. Have known her since freshman year at St. Mary’s. Have kept in touch as much as possible, and did not know of Pri (class of 1955, St. Mary’s High School, New Haven, Conn.
