Ralph Anthony Panagrosso, Sr. age 88, of Marlin Dr., North Haven, passed away Sept. 15, 2008. Ralph was the husband of the late Theresa DeAngelo Panagrosso; father of Ralph A. & his wife Mary-Ellen Panagrosso, Jr. of Woodbury; grandfather of Tony, Amanda, Aidan and Taylor Panagrosso; great grandfather of Julien Panagrosso and brother of Louise Pottino, Mary Mazza, and Mario, William, Paul and Gerry & Fred Panagrosso. Ralph was born in Naples, Italy on Jan. 9, 1920, a son of the late Felice and Vincenza Giampitro Panagrosso. Ralph was a printer, retired from the former Bussmann Press Co. in North Haven. A WWII Army Veteran he was the recipient of 3 Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart. Ralph enjoyed wood carving and painting in his retirement years. Relatives and Friends may attend a Graveside Funeral Service with Military Honors on Friday, Sept. 19, 2008 at 11 AM in St. Mary's Cemetery, Whitney Ave., Hamden. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospital of St. Raphael Foundation, 1450 Chapel St., New Haven, CT 06511. Arrangements are in care of BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden.

  1. It was an honor for me to attend services for Ralph,I will always remember my memories of working with him. He was a wonderful man. 30 years have passed since we worked together, some day when it is my time ,i hope to see my friend again. god bless Ralph. once again, my deepest sympathy to all of Ralphs family.and all who loved him.
