Raymond Edward Comstock

MERIDEN - Raymond Edward Comstock, 90, formerly of 292 Thorpe Ave., Meriden, died Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at The Curtis Home in Meriden. He was predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Marion Belle Comstock. Born in Mechanicsville, NY, on April 14, 1916, he was the son of the late Edward L. and Emma H. Comstock. He was a Grange member for 68 years, the latest membership with Cheshire Grange #23. He is survived by a daughter Judith Orlando of Southington; two sons, Donald E. Comstock and his wife, Barbara of Wallingford and Richard E. Comstock and his wife, Heidi of Lisbon, NH; nine grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Susan Dubois; a sister, Olivia Thompson and two grandchildren, Dean Lattman and Kim Lattman. A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Wallingford, 114 N. Main Street, Wallingford, CT., at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 3, 2007. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Beecher & Bennett Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden.
