Hamden- Reginald G. Wiltshire, 82, husband of Alberta M. Wiltshire of Woodin St., passed away Sun., Oct. 23, 2005. Mr. Wiltshire was born in New Haven, Dec. 31, 1922 a son of the late Sheridan N. and Constance Symons Wiltshire and had resided in Hamden since 1958. He was an electrical contractor having worked at the Winchester Repeating Arms Co., the New Haven Redevelopment Agency, the New Haven Housing Authority and he later retired as a Police Officer with the Yale-New Haven Hospital Police Dept. Mr. Wiltshire served in the US Army during WW II and participated in the D-Day Normandy Beach invasion. He was a life member of the Hamden Fish & Game Protective Assoc. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and shooting. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son Gregory P. Wiltshire and his wife, Josephine Carroll-Wiltshire of Wallingford, 2 sisters, Agnes Marinda Elliot of Spanishtown, Jamaica, Constance Williams, of Milford, CT, a stepson, Lamar Williams of Atlanta, GA, a stepdaughter, Taneka Williams of Hamden, a granddaughter Isabella Rose Wiltshire, and step-grandchildren, Allyson Carroll, Santana & Christopher Williams. He was predeceased by sons, Reginald G. Wiltshire, Jr. and Stephen C. Wiltshire. Friends may call at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 WHITNEY AVE., HAMDEN, Sun., Oct. 30, from 4-7 p.m. A Candlelight Remembrance Service will be at 7 p.m. Burial with Military Honors on Tues., Nov. 1, at 1p.m. in Beaverdale Memorial Park, sec. P.
