Reinaldo Rivera-Ortiz

Meriden- Reinaldo Rivera-Ortiz, 83, husband of the late Ines Rivera passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2016. He was born October 30, 1932 in Jayuya, Puerto Rico a son of the late Eugenio Rivera and Catalina Ortiz. Reinaldo proudly served his country in the US Army from 1954- 1959. He is survived by two sons; Luis ('Danny') Rivera of Meriden and Charles (Michele) Ortiz of Springfield, MO, three stepdaughters and their husbands; Carmen (Paul) Aguilar of Monument, CO, Jean (Guillermo) Perez of Meriden and Margarita Colon of Puerto Rico, two grandchildren Julie and Jeff, seven step-grandchildren; Gabriel, Samuel, Cecilia, Guillermo, Kendrick, Angel and Anarelis, three step great-grandchildren, Jesabel, Kanan and Mia. He was preceased by a step son-in-law, Antonio Maldonado and step grandson, Jose. A graveside service with Military Honors will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 11:00am at Walnut Grove Cemetery, 817 Old Colony Rd., Meriden.
