Renzo Pini of Evergreen Ave., Hamden died Friday, June 4, 2004. He was the husband of Nella Pincelli Pini. He was born in the Centerville section of Hamden, son of the late Alcide and Giovannina Mantovani Pini. He returned to live in Italy and France and came back to the U.S.A. in 1956. Mr. Pini was employed at the former Weather-vane restaurant as a cook and then retired from the Marlin Company after 24 years. He served six years in the Italian Army durning WW II. Mr Pini was a member of the Knights of Columbus of Hamden. Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter, Anita Pini Andrews of West Islip, L. I., NY, a brother, Ottorino Pini of Hamden and a sister, Liliana Pini Pogmore of Hamden. Also survived by 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. Predeceased by a brother, Adolph Pini. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave. Hamden, Tuesday morning June 8th at 9:30. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Hamden at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Saint Mary's Cemetery, Hamden. Friends may call Monday from 4-8 p.m.
