Robert 'Rob' Alan Larsen, Jr., age 43, lifelong resident of Hamden, passed away on October 18, 2016. Rob was born in New Haven on November 2, 1972. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert A. 'Bob' Larsen Sr. & Pamela Newell Larsen. He was employed at Industrial Wood Products in Derby. Rob is survived by his sister Dana Larsen of Hamden; his brother Timothy Larsen and his wife Andrea of Wallingford; his niece Hannah Larsen; his maternal grandfather Chester Newell; and several aunts, uncles & cousins. He was predeceased also by his maternal grandmother Eliza Newell, and his paternal grandparents Kristian & Lillian (Schmidt) Larsen. Friends may visit with Rob's family on Friday, Oct. 21st from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden and may attend his Funeral Service which will begin at 6:00 PM in the funeral home. Rob's interment will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions on Rob's memory may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 805 Brook St. I-91 Tech Center, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.

  1. I am so heartbroken to hear of Rob’s passing. We were the best of friends over ther years with all of the Larsen Family. Tim and Dayna my prayers are with you. Rob you were a good friend I only wish we never lost touch. Youin a better place now. Rest easy my friend.
