Robert 'Bobby' Esposito, age 65, of Hamden, passed away on July 9, 2014 at Yale New Haven Hospital. Born in New Haven on January 10, 1949 he was the son of the late Pasquale & Rose Nuzzo Esposito. Bobby is survived by his wife, Carol Garcia Esposito; his daughter Tara Esposito Miller & her husband Michael of Hamden; his son Marc Esposito & his wife Kristen of Milford; his sister Donna Esposito of East Haven; brother in-law Joseph Northrup of East Haven; niece Jennifer Conte & her husband Michael; nephews David & Joseph Northrup; great nephew James Conte and many aunts, uncles & cousins. He was predeceased by his sister Marylin Esposito Northrup. Bobby was a US Navy Veteran during the Vietnam War, serving on the USS Laffey, a drummer for many local bands and an electrician for 34 years at Yale University, Physical Plant. Bobby's family would like to thank the Yale Health Plan and Yale New Haven Hospital for the care he received during his time of need. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden on Saturday at 9:15 AM, followed by his Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 AM in the Blessed Sacrament Church, Hamden. Friends may also visit with his family at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Interment with Military Honors will take place in Beaverdale Memorial Park, New Haven.
