Guestbook

  1. Bob was a kind, thoughtful, and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was proud of his family and their accomplishments. We admired Bob’s work ethic and also his courage handling his long illness. Bob persevered! He was our wonderful neighbor for almost 29 years. We will miss Bob. Our hearts go out to Cathy & D.J., as well as to Bruce and his family.

  2. Bob was a special person who built .The Hitchcock Fireplace. and 2-3 ton faced limestone wall at our new home in 1960 with us as his laborers. In 1960 we gave him a 8 x 10 photo of it since it was the first wall he had done and it gave him a pattern to follow for future walls.Since then our family has gathered in front of the Hitchcock Fireplace for many special moments… Recently, we called him and we talked briefly. We then sent him a color 8 x 10 photo of his . Limestone wall and fireplace . at xmas time with 19 stockings hanging from it. Bob has always been a legend in our family because of the wonderful work he did at our home. We will keep him in our thoughts and prayers always. We send those same thoughts to his wife and family. Robert E. .Bob. Hitchcock.. will always be a wonderful guy in our minds and hearts..Tom and Helen Geirin Family.

  3. Bob was a wonderful man with a twinkle in his eye. I got to know him over the last many years on the cemetery board. He was so dedicated to his work and was loved by all. We will miss him dearly. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

  4. Bob was truly a beautiful person. Having him for our neighbor for many years, he became our dearest friend. We were truly blessed to have him in our lives! We will miss him very much & cherish our memories of him.

  5. We knew Bob from long ago when he did all the masonary work in our new home. He was a kind, easy-going man whom we really liked and appreciated. May he rest in peace.

  6. George and I were so sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. He was a great man and George and Bob never had a harsh word after almost 30 years together.
