Robert G. 'Rambo' Civitelli, 45, husband of Kathryn Sabol Civitelli, father of Marissa Civitelli, step father of Michael Forish. Son of Arthur and Dorothy Civitelli. Brother of David and Arthur Civitelli, Jr. Robert was a lifelong Cheshire resident, graduated from Cheshire HS is 1982 and enjoyed sports in the Cheshire Athletic leagues. He was employed by the CT Dept. of Corrections for 12 years and also was an executive chef at several area restaurants. Friends may visit with his family on Thursday Nov. 5, from 6-8pm at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 WHITNEY AVE., HAMDEN. A prayer service will be at 8pm. Interment will be private.

  6. Rob was my high school classmate and one of the most passionate and intense people I’ve ever known. He would love you and joke with you off the court but when he stepped between the lines it was 100% all out domination he sought and often achieved. I always loved that about him.   9. I met Robert a year ago. He had a wonderful sense of humor with a contagious laugh. My condolences to his family. He’ll be missed by many.

  13. My cousin Rob was one of the kindess people I’ve known. He had a hugh heart and an enormous capacity for love. He adored his daughter and would do anything for her. I will miss him very much
