Robert Harrison Sperry, husband of Evelyn Tickell Sperry of Baldwin Rd., Woodbridge passed away Jan. 3, 2005 after a long illness. He was born in New Haven, Nov. 11, 1931 a son of the late Harrison B. and May Blackman Sperry and was a life long resident of Woodbridge. He was employed at S.N.E.T. Co. as a cable splicer for 28 years before his retirement in 1985. He was a member of the Woodbridge Historical Society, VFW Post 2871 of Woodbridge, and a former member of the Woodbridge Vol. Fire Dept. Mr. Sperry served in the US Navy during the Korean conflict. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Virginia Sperry Thomsen of Las Vegas, NV, a son, Arthur Harrison Sperry, and his wife, Vicky J. Sperry of Stephen's City, VA and 2 grandchildren; Keith S. Thomsen II of Las Vegas, NV and David A. Sperry of Stephen's City, VA. He was predeceased by a sister, Laura May Sperry. Funeral service Mon., Jan. 10, 2005 at 11 a.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden. Burial with military honors in Milfordside Cemetery, Woodbridge. Friends may call Sun. from 3-5 p.m. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Farmington Care Center, Alzheimer's Unit ''A'', 20 Scott Swamp Rd., Farmington, CT 06032.
