Robert J. Brenner

MERIDEN - Robert J. Brenner, 82, formerly of 560 East Main St., died Sunday, Oct. 22, 2006 at Curtis Home. Born in Meriden on June 19, 1924, he was the son of the late Richard G. and Emma Gehring Brenner. Until his retirement, he was employed for thirty-five years at Cuno, Inc. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. He is survived by a sister, Lois E. McMahon of Meriden; three nephews, James McMahon of Hudson, Ohio, Paul D. McMahon of West Hartford and John D. McMahon of Monroe; a niece, Maureen Tacy, of Eastford, CT; two great-nephews, Ryan Tacy and Kyle Tacy, both of Eastford; and two great-nieces, Maureen McMahon and Shana McMahon, both of Cleveland, Ohio. He is also survived by several cousins. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Beecher and Bennett Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. The Rev. Wallace Merdinyan will officiate. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the service.
