Meriden - Robert M. Johnson, 57, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 31, 2006. He was born October 8, 1949 in Cumberland County, VA, a son of the late Lawrence and Louise Marie (Wheeler) Johnson Sr. Mr. Johnson is survived by a daughter, Fawne Kristine Johnson Jones of Fredricksburg, VA, seven sisters and their husbands, Mazie Shepard of FL, Lenora and Albert Walton of NC, Roberta Harding and Ted LeBlanc of Meriden, Mary Jane and Edwin Johnson of Richmond, VA, Nannie Delois Johnson and Louise Christine Johnson, both of Meriden and Nichole Lowe of NY; seven brothers, Nevin Lowe, Christopher Johnson and James Johnson, all of Meriden, Kennedy Johnson of Hartford, Lawrence and his wife Brenda Johnson Jr. of Columbia, VA, Eugene Johnson of Charlottesville, VA and Alonza and his wife, Sandra Chowder of NC. He also leaves three grandchildren, Alivia, Jeanette and Isaiah Jones of VA; three special nieces, Lisa Hunter, Keshia Bishop and Sunde Warner, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. He was predeceased by his step-mother, Queen E. Johnson and three brothers, Howard Johnson, Lee Mayo and Johnnie Johnson. Relatives and friends may call at the Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden on Wednesday, Nov. 8 from 12 noon to 2 p.m., following which the family will receive family and friends at the home of Roberta Johnson, 158 Paddock Ave., Meriden. Services and burial will be private.
