Robert T. Warner, Sr.

ROBERT T. WARNER, SR. Hamden-Robert T. Warner, Sr., 92, of 125 Putnam Ave., Hamden, husband of the late Nan Conway Warner passed away Thursday, Oct. 4, 2001 in the Hamden Health Care Facility. He was born in Detriot, MI, May 21, 1909 a son of the late William R. and Lillian Hamlin Warner and had lived in Hamden since 1940. He was employed as a sales manager in the Boston District for the American District Telegraph Co. (ADT) for 35 years retiring in 1959. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and served on the Parish Council and was head of the Small Prayers Committee. Mr. Warner was a member of the Boston Rotary Club and after retirement was the Executive Secretary for the Better Home Heat Council. He is survived by a daughter Elizabeth Warner Glennon of Branford, a son Dr. Robert T. Warner, Jr. of Hamden, three grandchildren; Jeanne W. Kohutanycz of Franklyn, MA, Robert K. Warner of Dallas, TX and Jennifer D. Starrs of Meriden, CT also survived by 6 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Gladys Kushner and a brother, Donald Warner. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, Monday, Oct. 8 at 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment in All Saints Cemetery.
