Roberta ' Bobbie' Piscitelle, beloved wife of Pasquale Piscitelle of 125 Putnam Ave., passed away June 21, 2009 in the CT Hospice after a long illness. She was born in Eastbourne Sussex, England, Jan. 24, 1946 a daughter of Sylvia Warner of Hamden, and was a long time Hamden resident. She was a manager at Jo-Mar Maternity in the Hamden Mart for 12 years, and then worked at the Burt Process Equipment Co. for the last 17 years. She had her commercial fishing license and was a commercial fisherman. Bobbie loved her family, holidays, fishing, boating, walking on the beach picking shells in Florida, picnics by the water, music, old movies, and dinner with the girls, and loved life! She is survived by her sisters, Jean Koepke of Hamden, Victoria Barone of Stratford, a brother, Edward Warner of Hamden, her mother- in-law, Emma Piscitelle of East Haven, a sister-in-law, Suzanne Piscitelle, of Wellesley, MA, and nieces Cindy Koepke, Jessica Warner both of Hamden, Katherine and Megan Piscitelle both of Wellesley, MA. Survivors also include her aunt & uncle, Hazel and Daniel White of North Haven, cousins Andy & Debbie Forte and children of North Haven, and Frank & Bonnie Holmes of Daytona Beach, FL., who she loved and considered family. Friends may call Friday, June 26, from 5-8 p.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 WHITNEY AVE., HAMDEN. A Memorial Service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Dunbar Hill United Church of Christ, 419 Dunbar Hill Rd., Hamden. A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers contirbutions in her memory may be sent ot he American Cancer Society, 127 Washington Ave., P.O. Box 188, North Haven, CT 06473.
