Southington- Rolf H. "Ralph" Fiederlein, 61 husband of Lila (Farley) Fiederlein passed away on Thursday, December 22 at MidState Medical Center after a 10 year battle with leukemia. He was born October 4, 1944 in Vohrenbach, Germany a son of Berta (Saier) Fiederlein and the late Franze Fiederlein. He was employed at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft for 42 years until his recent retirement and was a member of the Meriden Turner Society. The family wishes to thank Dr. Gary Tansino and the nurses at MidState Medical Center for their excellent care. In addition to his wife Lila, he is survived by a daughter and her husband, Amy-Jo and James Reid of Meriden, a brother and his wife, Erich and Marilyn Fiederlein of Wallingford, one unborn grandchild, two nephews and their spouses, Erich & Donna Fiederlein and Christopher & Kristen Fiederlein as well as many cousins and relatives across the United States and Germany. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, December 27 at 11:00 am at St. Rose of Lima Church, Center St., Meriden. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden on Monday, Dec. 26 from 6-8pm. If desired contributions in Ralph's memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.

  12. Lila, My mother and sister wanted me to let you know how sorry they are to hear about Ralph’s passing away. My mother said to let you know that she knows exactly how you must be feeling right now. She had 53 years with my father before we lost him in Febuary this year. It has been 6 and a half years since we lost my brother. The one thing that helps my mother is knowing that my father and brother are together now. Please take care of yourself. Except all the help your family wants to give you. Also Lila, Stephanie felt so bad that she was not with Randy and I when we went to the funeral home. She said to tell you how sorry she is.   16. My condolences to your entire family. Ralph worked for me on 3rd shift, during this time we had many discussions about life and family. Ralph was a great co-worker and a great person, he was loved by all. One of his biggest goals was to be around to see his little girl get married, this had to have been a great day for him. It was an honor to know him.

  26. We remember the awsome time we had with Rolph last summer. The wedding, dancing and riding with him in the antique car. He made us feel awsome. Now he is with God and he is awsome.
