Mr. Ronald Wayne Pouncey entered into peaceful sleep Sept. 4, 2005 at the Westfield Rehab and Care Center in Meriden, CT. Ronald was a native of New Haven and had worked for Bradley Coats as a presser. Ronald leaves his mother Dorothy Richardson, a daughter, Stacey Pouncey, brothers, Richard, Douglas and Joey Pouncey all of New Haven, sisters, Charlette Topley-Bird of England, Terez Murphy of Cheshire, Elaine Pouncey and Lea Oliver of California. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral service Thurs., Sept. 8, 2005 at 11 a.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden. Family and friends may call Thurs. from 10 - 11 a.m. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven. Contribution in his memory may be made to St. Martin dePorres Church, 136 Dixwell Ave., New Haven, CT 06511.
