Rosemary Ambrose Liebel Resler

Rosemary Ambrose Liebel Resler, age 66, of Hamden, CT passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was born September 20, 1949 in Manhattan, NY. She had previously resided in the Bronx, Staten Island, and Manhattan and the Hamburg and Myerstown areas in PA. Rose is survived by Charles Resler, her loving husband; her sons, Eric, Marc, and Evan Jackson; two stepdaughters, Traci Resler and Jaime Whiskeyman. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many other loving family members. Rosemary has an associate degree from Gateway Community College, and was a certified senior advisor (CSA). She worked many jobs including a nursing assistant at Berks Heim in Reading PA, Visiting nurses in Reading PA: Second Home Senior Day Care in Wallingford, CT, Medicare Enrollment at Health Net, was the owner and operator of Seniors Helping Seniors of Greater New Haven, a volunteer at Yale-New Haven Hospital, a Medicare Choices volunteer at the Agency on Aging of South Central Connecticut and was currently enjoying retirement. Friends are invited to visit with her family on Saturday, September 26th from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden, CT. A Memorial Service Celebrating Rose's life will be at 5:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
