Rosemary Johnson
Rosemary Johnson of West Haven, entered into rest on May 5, 2014. Loving mother of Kathy Johnson of Branford and Stephen Johnson of West Haven, she is also survived by 4 grandsons. She was predeceased by her husband Carl Johnson, daughter Patricia Johnson and a brother Lt. James Dillon, New Haven Fire Department. Rosemary was born in New Haven May 30, 1929 a daughter of the late Patrick and Mary (Sullivan) Dillon and was a life long resident of West Haven. She was well know for her kind and generous spirit. She enjoyed her family and the many years with her friends at Sunset Shores in Stratford. The family would like to thank the staff of the Mary Wade Home, and a special thanks to Charice (Chi), Betty and Marlene for their compassionate care. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT-TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave., West Haven Thursday morning, May 8 at 9:30. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated in St. Lawrence Church, Main St., West Haven at 10 am. Friends may visit with her family Thursday morning from 8:00 to 9:30 at the funeral home.
