Roy Peter Rutlin
Roy Peter Rutlin, 77, beloved husband of Ruth Darling Rutlin of Sebring FL, and Hamden, CT, passed away January 19, 2009 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Queens, NY March 28, 1931 a son of the late Peter S. and Hulda Lethen Rutlin. He was employed as a manufacturing engineer with Lockheed Martin prior to his retirement in 1988. He enjoyed golf and the Miami Dolphins. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons: Robert C. Rutlin and Roy T. Rutlin both of Williston, FL, Grant G. Rutlin of Misawa, Japan, William M Rutlin of Canton, GA, a sister Mildred Carroll of NJ. Mr. Rutlin is also survived by his loving granddaughters: Kimberly, Kristina, and Samantha Rutlin, and a great-granddaughter Ellie Garcia. He was predeceased by 2 sisters Ruth Andrews, Gloria Gagnon, and a brother Leonard Rutlin. Memorial gathering will be Saturday February 21, at 2 p.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 WHITNEY AVE., HAMDEN, CT.
