Ruth Coe Keller, wife of the late Charles W. Keller, died December 27, 2005. She was born in West Haven, CT, on March 31, 1918, a daughter of the late Joseph F. and Ethel Sturtevant Coe, and resided in West Haven and Milford all her life. She is survived by three children, Charles W. Keller (Nancy) of West Newbury, MA, Jan Keller Gregorio (Anthony) of Middletown, CT, and John J. Keller of West Haven, CT. Also, four grandchildren, Shawn C. Keller (Christine) of Newburyport, MA, Arik C. Keller (Kristin) of Amesbury, MA, Lorin Gregorio Miller (Jeffery) of Middletown, CT, and Denise Gregorio Jenkins (Seth) of Stratford, CT, as well as great-grandchildren Jeffery Miller, Ian C. Keller, Avery R. Keller, and Katherine A. Keller. Ruth is survived by her dear sister Ethel Coe Begina of Middletown, CT, and pre-deceased by her brother Joseph L. Coe late of West Haven, CT. Ruth was a member of the First Baptist Church of New Haven where she was a soprano soloist for 28 years and an active member, serving on many committees and the church council. She was an executive secretary at Yellow Freight Systems in Orange, CT, until her retirement in 1978. A Funeral Service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Christ in New Haven on Fri., Dec. 30 at 10am, followed by a burial at Hamden Plains Cemetery. Family and friends may call at BEECHER & BENNETT-TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave., West Haven on Thurs., Dec. 29 from 3-4pm and 6-8pm.
