Ruth D. Curran, 91, of 117 Washington St., Keene, N.H. passed away Friday March 9, 2007. She was the wife of the late John P. Curran. She was born in Bridgeport, Ct. November 21, 1915 daughter of the late Edward B. and Elizabeth PalFrayman Doolan. Mrs Curran was a Executive Assistant at Yale University for 20 years prior to her retirement. She was a graduate of Warren Harding High School, in Bridgeport, Ct. class of 1936. She is survived by a son Philip J. Curran of West Haven and 4 grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Edward Doolan. Funeral service and interment will be private. Arrangements in care of BEECHER & BENNETT TAYLOR, Funeral Home, 410 Campbell Ave., West Haven. Memorial Contributions made be made to CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405.

  1. It has been my privilage to have been Ruth’s .librarian. and friend for almost 10 years through the Talking Book Library. We had many, many conversation over the years from politics to the nature of relationships. Ruth was a brilliant and outspoken woman. I greatly enjoyed my conversations with her.
