Ruth Ida Segura

Ruth Ida Segura, 96, of Hamden, formerly of Ann Arbor, Michigan, passed away at home on July 14, 2016. She was born on July 2, 1920 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late William and Ida Kotzbach Widmar. Ruth leaves her daughter Ruthann Brazdova, granddaughters Ingrid Ducmanis, Ann Adams, great granddaughters Indra Higgins, Emilia Adams, and Aila Adams, and nephew Dean Santner. She is predeceased by her first husband Paul Brazda, and second husband Benito Segura. In 1944 Ruth moved from Cleveland Ohio to Ann Harbor Michigan where she lived until 2013 .She then moved to Hamden to be closer to her family. Ruth was a long time member of the Bethlehem United Church of Christ in Ann Harbor, MI. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service celebrating Ruth's life on Saturday July 30, 2016 at 11am in the Beecher & Bennett Funeral Home, 2300 Whitney Ave. Hamden, CT 06518.
