Ruth Seadale Ohler

Ruth Seadale Ohler, 61, of 245 Knob Hill Rd. South Meriden, died Friday at Mid-State Hospital. She was the wife of Guenther Ohler. She was a loving wife, mother and sister. Guenther and Ruth had been married for 41 years. She was born in Glen Cove, L.I., New York, daughter of the late Axel & Ranghild Sophie Seadale. She was a avid traveller, cross stitch and needlework expert. Mrs. Ohler was a member of the New Life Church and Door of Hope Community Church. Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Kristine Zullo and her husband Joseph Zullo of So. Meriden brothers, Stanley Seadale of Wallingford, Gilbert Seadale of Freeport, L.I., New York and Richard Seadale of Meriden, sisters, Lorraine Reimer of Cheshire and Ethel Jacques of Middlefield. She was predeceased by a son, Guenther Ohler, Jr. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday morning , March 14th at 10;30 at BEECHER & BENNETT FLATOW Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden with the Rev Will Marotti and the Rev Randy Somody, officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Cheshire. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 5-8 pm.
