  1. I will miss you my cousin Darnell and the talks and prayers over the phone. I know God’s telling you,”well done, good and faithful servant! You been faithful over a few things; l make you ruler over many things; enter into the joy of your master. Love you and God bless your family.

  2. Granddad, I thank God for the life you lived as an example for all of us to follow. I will miss you but I so happy that you get to go to the place that you worked so hard to go to and that was to be with Jesus. Enjoy your rest. You deserve it. Love you forever 😘

  3. “My deepest sympathy goes out to the family, friends, colleagues and neighbors on the passing of the beloved sam. I have fond memories of Sam, Faye and Val visiting Bells Mill over the years. He is -sorely missed.”

  4. I am sending my deepest condolences to the Clemons family. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Deacon Clemon was a very special man. He always had a kind word—I mean always. He loved Tennessee (smile). Deacon Clemon was a very faithful and kind person. I will miss him very much.

  5. My condolences to the family. Uncle Sam you will be missed and I love you very much.
It is hard to realize you are gone but you will always be in my heart.
    RIP Uncle Sam

  6. I worked with Sam in the Meriden-Wallingford NAACP roughly 20 years ago. He was such a kind, giving man, steadfast and loyal. The last time I saw him was at a community walk against violence in 2016. His knees were bothering him quite a bit but he was there giving all the support he could. I was saddened to read of his passing, my condolences to his family and many friends. His picture made me smile, he looked so happy!

  7. Family: Praying that you feel God’s comforting presence. We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
II Corinthians 5:8 Love Pastor Nathaniel J. Fountain Sr. & Family
