Santina Vuolo
Santina Vuolo, 94, wife of the late Henry Vuolo, passed away on June 23, 2016 at Hamden Healthcare. She was born on January 21, 1922 to the late Salvatore and Selma Cumbo Valente. Santina will be remembered by her children and their spouses, Judith & Patrick Gurrieri of North Haven, Ralph & Marytheresa Vuolo of Woodbridge; grandchildren, Lauren (Daniel) Esposito, Paul Gurrieri, Steven Vuolo & Katherine Vuolo; great-grandchildren, Liliana, Layla, Daniel & Drew Esposito; and sisters, Regina Locke of Stratford, and Rae Russo of Hamden. She was predeceased by her sister, Mary Malavasi. Santina was a long time resident of Woodbridge and enjoyed her time volunteering at the Willows. Friends may visit with her family on Monday, June 27th from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden followed by her Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 81 Center Rd, Woodbridge. Burial will take place in East Side Cemetery, Woodbridge.
