Woodbridge - Sharon Ann McLean, 50, passed away at her home at 4 Deer Run Road on May 27, 2005 surrounded by her family. She had lived in Woodbridge for almost 40 years. She is survived by her brother, Dean McLean of Woodbridge, sisters, Lana Deym Campbell of Providence, RI, Carol Mathieu of Falls Church, VA and Joyce Dayley of Albany, NY and many nieces and nephews. Born in Maracaibo, Venezuela, Oct. 23, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Baroness Michaela Skramlik von Cronreuth McLean. Sharon graduated from Amity High School in 1973 and Utah State University in 1976 with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree. For 19 years she worked at IBM as an executive assistant. Sharon was a pretty woman with a festive nature who loved to bring people together. Raised in Venezuela until age 10 and fluent in Spanish, she enjoyed foreign cultures and had traveled extensively in Europe. She loved animals, especially dogs and horses and enjoyed riding and golfing. She was happiest sitting in the sun by her pool with a book and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 17th at 10:00am at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 75 Center Rd. in Woodbridge.
