Shirley M. Anderson

Shirley M. Anderson, 86, beloved wife of 64 years to Roy L. Anderson of Meriden, passed away peacefully May 11, 2012. She was born in Hartford Feb. 22, 1926 a daughter of the late James and Catherine Newman Kirkpatrick and had resided in Meriden since 1956. Loving mother of Kirsten Anderson of Meriden, Leonard (Kelly) Anderson of Rumney, NH., Sister of Louise (Gilbert) Cashman of Plattsburgh, NY, and Carol Hurley of St. Petersburgh, FL. Grandmother of Ian Anderson of Rumney, NH. Shirley is also survived by her niece Carolyn Prickett and her family, Chris, Parker & Grace, a nephew Curt M. Cashman and his family Kim, Benjamin & Samuel, and her extended adopted family. She was a member of the St. Andrews Episcopal Church and enjoyed her family, her beloved cats, Mica, Jorden and Miss Kitty and gardening. Service will be private at the convenience of her family.
