Stanley B. Linsley

In West Haven, Sept. 17, 2008, Stanley B. Linsley, 87, formerly of Park Terrace Ave., West Haven, husband of the late Marion Ivins Linsley and predeceased by his first wife Dorothea Currier Linsley. Uncle of Theresa Valerio, Sheryl Lofgren both of Orange, Walter Linsley, Jr., John and his wife Mary Kraushaar all of West Haven. Brother of the late Helen and Walter Linsley. Stanley was born in New Haven, Sept. 17, 1921 a son of the late Walter H. and Bertha Samburge Linsley. He served in the US Army during WW II for six years. Stanley worked as an aircraft engine tester for AVCO. He was a member of the VFW Post 1684 of West Haven. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Haven Healthcare - Soundview of West Haven and CT Hospice. Graveside funeral service Friday, Sept. 19 at 11 a.m. in St. Lawrence Cemetery, Section O, West Haven.
