Stephanie D. Patsos
Meriden- Stephanie D. Patsos, 23, died as a resulf of an automobile accident on Sunday, January 5, 1024 in Vermont. She was born September 11, 1990 in Meriden a daughter of Steven and Virginia (Sawyer) Patsos. From the moment she was born, blonde-haired, blue-eyed into a family of dark-haired, dark-eyed sibilings and parents, there was no denying that Stephanie would stand out. As she grew, her personality proved this to be true. She had an innate flair for the dramatic and thrived as the center of attention. She loved nothing more than making people laugh. Her smile was in itself contagious. Her humor and bubbly personality drew everyone even more to her. She was, to so many of us here, a source of sunshine. Shephanie was the definition of a free spirit. She lived spontaneously, cherishing every moment. She didn't have any interest in material things. Instead, she valued meeting new people and spending time outdoors. Give her music and a place to dance, and she was very happy. She was a friend to everyone she met, making those around her feel welcomed and loved with her beautiful smile and warm personality. In life, Stephanie was a light in the lives of those she met. Her family and friends can take comfort in knowing that her light, her sunshine, will continue to burn on in all of the memories she leaves. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her grandparents; Sarah Sawyer Kassman, Nicholas and Theresa (McMann) Patsos, two sisters; Sarah and her husband Kevin Regan of Scotland and Theresa Patsos and her companion Kevin Polley of West Hartford, two nephews; Brayden and Tyler Regan, several aunts, uncles, cousins and a very large and loving group of chosen family. She was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Daniel Kassman and a cousin, Karen Marks. Stephanie's family will be gathering to share memories on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at the Franco-American Club, 95 Liberty St., Meriden from 1-5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the John J. Nerden RTC Camp, P.O.Box 2617, Meriden, CT 06450. There, she spent many summers volunteering and sharing her love with people with special needs. The Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden is in charge of the arrangements.
