Stuart Allan Troop

Stuart Allan Troop, 67, of Heritage Village, Southbury passed away Saturday, September 16, 2006 at the River Glen Health Care of Southbury. He was the husband of Alice V. Lovell Troop. He was born in Haverhill, MA., February 6, 1939, son of the late Ivan Botsford and Alice Mildred Groves Troop. He graduated from the Gordon College in MA. Mr Troop was a Senior Systems Analyst in Computer Technology and was a member of the Elfin Society at General Electric. He belonged to the Trinity Evangelical Free Church in Woodbridge. Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter Elizabeth A. Lang of Meriden, two sons and their wife's David A. and Allison F. Troop of Derby, Ct. Jonathan A. and Susan A. Troop of Lancaster, Pa., a brother James F. Troop of Newbury Port, MA. Also survived by six grandchildren, Rebecca L. Troop, Amanda M. Troop both of Derby, Stephen J. Lang of Meriden, Thomas A. Troop, Gregory E. Troop and Ian P. Troop of Lancaster, Pa. A funeral service will Wednesday September 20, 2006 at 1;00 pm at the New Life Church 262 Bee St. Meriden Rev. Will Marotti will officiate. Friends may call at BEECHER & BENNETT FLATOW Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden Tuesday from 6-8pm. Burial will be at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Meriden.
