LANGER, STUART M. (PHOTOGRAPHER) In New Haven, December 19, 2001. Stuart Michael Langer of 3379 Whitney Ave., Hamden. Husband of Nancy Kisil Langer. Born July 19, 1929 in New Haven, he was the son of the late Thomas and Marion Perkosky Langer. Formerly a photographer for the New Haven Register from 1948 - 1970, he owned his own photography studio. A graduate of Hillhouse High School, he attended the Winnona School of Photography, in Indiana and the Norda School of Photgraphy in Canada. He was a past Director of the National Press Photographers Association of New England, past President of the Hamden - North Haven Kiwanis Club. Mr. Langer was a member of St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church Committee, a past President of the Holy Name Society and past President of the Ukrainian Mr. & Mrs. Club. He was also a past President of the Hamden High School Band Parents Association. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. Beside his wife he is survived by two daughters; Donna Langer Lodynsky of Cheshire and Hope Langer-Marshall of Plainville. Grandchildren; Adam and Andrew Lodynsky of Cheshire and Stuart and Nadia Langer-Marshall of Plainville. He was predeceased by a brother Kenneth Langer. Funeral from BEECHER AND BENNETT, 2300 WHITNEY AVE., HAMDEN on Friday, December 21 at 9:15 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church, New Haven at 10 A.M. Friends may call Thursday from 4 -8 P.M. A Parastas Service will be held at 7 P.M.
