Sue Anne Lamson, 73, passed away peacefully with her twins, Ashley and Lindsay, by her side on October 24, 2023 at UCONN Medical Center in Farmington, CT. She was born in Waterbury, CT on February 25, 1950, and was a long-time resident of Naugatuck, CT. She was a daughter of the late Franklin and Rose Lamson Hubbell. She is survived by her daughters, Lindsay Sanchez (Jose), Ashley Allen, and Corine Allen, her soulmate, James H. Allen, Sr., and her siblings, Jay Hubbell (Sandra), Sally Saldamarco (Peter), and Catherine Hubbell. She also leaves her grandchildren, Londyn Cross, Ayden Sanchez, Michael and Shontai Cross, Aaron and Andrew Lamson, and several nieces and nephews. After graduating from the Meriden-Wallingford Hospital School of Nursing, she went on to work for Meriden-Wallingford Hospital as a life-long Registered Nurse. Later on, she was the President of The Residents Council of both Skyview Rehabilitation in Wallingford and The Reservoir Nursing Home in West Hartford. In her free time, she loved to gather with her Nursing School Alumni friends. She also enjoyed arts and crafts, especially knitting and crocheting.

Friends are invited to visit with Sue’s family on Saturday, October 28th from 8:00-9:30 a.m. at Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in Our Lady Queen of Angels Parish-St. Joseph Church, 22 Goodwill Ave., Meriden at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
