Sydney Partman Isenberg

Sydney Partman Isenberg, 92, loving husband of Hazel Windham Isenberg, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2001 in the Masonic Geriatric Health Care Center, Wallingford after a brief illness. He was born in New Haven, CT August 22, 1908 a son of the late Morris and Libby Partman Isenberg and was President of Gentree Limited Clothier of New Haven from 1950 to 1978. Mr. Isenberg graduated from Yale University in 1930 and was associated with Isenberg Brothers until serving in the U.S. Army during WW II. He and his wife resided in North Carolina from 1978 until moving to Wallingford in 1998. In addition to his wife Hazel, survivors include a daughter, Miriam Windham Isenberg of North Haven, CT, a son, Sidney Windham Isenberg of Orange, CT, a brother, Seymour P. Isenberg of Martha's Vineyard, MA, four grandchildren, Rachel Stoner of Seattle, WA, Daniel Isenberg of Morocco, Benjamin Isenberg of Raleigh, NC and Julian Isenberg of Orange, CT. He was predeceased by a son, Donald Windham Isenberg, a sister, Vera Diamond and a brother, Lester P. Isenberg. A Memorial Service will be held at the Masonic Home Chapel, Wallingford, Sunday, May 13, 2001 at 5 p.m. Service of interment will be in Bethesda Cemetery, Aberdeen, NC.
