Theodora A. Schirmeier Lyons

LYONS, THEODORA A. In Hamden, July 19, 2000, Theodora A. Schirmeier Lyons, 96, wife of the late George W. Lyons Sr. and her first husband the late Walter J. Moore of 644 Racebrook Rd. Orange; mother of Shirley Moore Walsh of Orange and Bethesda, MD. Also survived by three grandchildren, Karen Gay of LaPlata, MD, Thomas Walsh of Arlington, VA and Gary Walsh of New York City, two great-grandsons and a great granddaughter. Sister of the late Theodore H. Schirmeier, Harriet Luschenat and Viola Ross. Mrs. Lyons was born in New Haven on April 24,1904 a daughter of the late Theodore and Harriet Hiska Schirmeier. She was a real estate broker for many years and was the developer of Moore Manor on Racebrook Rd., Orange. She was a former member of the Edgewood Club. Funeral Service on Monday, July 24, 2000 at 11 AM at BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden. Friends may call after 10 o'clock. Interment in St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven.
