Thomas E. O'Donnell, Sr.
Thomas E. O'Donnell Sr., 83, of Wallingford, passed on to be reunited with his beloved wife Barbara (Sperzel) on Thursday, October 11, 2018. Born in New Haven August 20, 1935, he was the youngest of three sons and a daughter born to William and Ethel (Joyce) O'Donnell, Sr. He was the devoted father of Dawne M. Ferri (Robert) and Thomas E. O'Donnell Jr. (Janice Kuzub), both of Wallingford. Loving grandfather of Nicole (Matt Mucci) and Dominic Ferri, Paul Kuzub, Jennifer Sirois, Hilary Kuzub Reich and their families. He was an avid NY Rangers, Boston Red Sox, and NY Giants fan. Tom was a history buff who enjoyed traveling throughout the world. He also enjoyed music, golfing, bowling, and fishing. He was a gifted storyteller and a successful salesman. His sense of humor, compassion, and the heartfelt protection he had for his friends and family will truly be missed. A special Thank You to the staff at the Regency House in Wallingford for their loving care. Friends may visit with Tom's family on Monday, October 15 from 2-4 PM at the Beecher & Bennett Funeral Home, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, followed by a funeral service celebrating Tom's life at 4 PM. I FIRST MET TOM AT 5 YEARS OLD IN KINDERGARTEN OUR FRIENDSHIP CONTINUED THRU GRAMMER SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL HE DROVE ME FOR MY FIRST DAY AT PROVIDENCE COLLEGE HE TAUGHT ME HOW TO DRIVE HIS SISTERS CAR HE WAS A LONG TIME PATIENT AND AVERY DEAR FRIEND TO ME AND ALL MY FAMILY WE DID NOT HEAR OF HIS PASSING UNTIL NOV 2 WE ARE SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS WE WILL SEND A DONATION IN HIS MEMORY DOM DID MAKE CALLS WITH THE NUMBERS WE HAD BUT NO REPLEIES WE WILL KEEP TOM IN OUR PRAYERS ALWAYS WITH FONDEST MEMORIES.
