Thomas Francis Eburg, 76, of 140 Island Lane, West Haven and formerly of Park St., West Haven passed away at his home Saturday, May 20, 2006. He was the husband of Roberta Carleton Eburg. He was born in New Haven January 25, 1930 son of the late Oarrie and Evelyn Kelley Eburg. He was employed by Hummel Brothers Meat Packing for 42 years prior to his retirement in 1993. Mr. Eburg was an avid bowler and Red Sox and UConn sports fan. He was a softball pitcher for the West Haven Park and Recreation Team in the 70's. Mr. Eburg enjoyed family get togethers and spending time at Savin Rock Beach in later years. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard. Besides his wife Roberta, he is survived by daughters, Donna Vinci and husband John Vinci of West Haven, Nancy Leverich and her partner, Louis Passariello of West Haven, Barbara Duprey and husband Andre Duprey of West Haven, Ellen Fouser and husband Julian Fauser of Branford, Lynda Bennett and husband William Bennett of West Haven sons, Robert Eburg and wife Muffy Eburg of Clinton and Stephen Eburg and wife Lori Eburg of West Haven and a nephew Richard Macholl of CA. Also survived by 23 beloved grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Predeceased by sisters, Gertrude King, Margaret Dichello, Caroline Bieu, Jessie Meeker, Faye Russo, Jean Capasso and Joan Macholl and twin brother Oarrie, Alexander, Ralph and James Eburg. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT -TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave. at Court St., West Haven, Wednesday morning, May 24th at 9:30. Solemn Holy Eucharist will be celebrated at Christ Episcopal Church, 44 Church St. West Haven at 10:00am. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 4-8pm.
