Wai Ching Lee, age 67, passed away at her home in Hamden on May 22, 2021. Born August 21, 1953 in Nanhai, Guangdong, China, she was the daughter of Jusheng and Huan Du Yuan. She is survived by her loving daughter, PuiYee Lee of Hamden; as well as two brothers, Ming Hui Yuan and his wife Yan Huan Zhou and Zhou Hui Yuan and his wife Ying Ling; two sisters, Xian Ton Liang and Waijen Poon and her husband Chiu Mo Poon; and her many nieces and nephews.
Ms. Lee was a longtime and hardworking employee of Medtronic before retiring in 2020. An avid gardener, she loved taking care of her many houseplants and tending to her yearly vegetable harvest. Above all, she was a great mother, sister, and aunt.
Her Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, May 29th at 11:00 a.m. in Centerville Cemetery, Washington Avenue, Hamden. Arrangements are in care of Beecher & Bennett Funeral Home, 2300 Whitney Avenue, Hamden.
