Walter Everett Clark, 96, of St. Augustine FL, died peacefully on Friday, December 2, 2016. He was the husband of 71 years to the late Jeanette Clark. An accomplished mandolin player, he loved to play for family and friends. Walter and his beloved Jean were married on April 4th, 1943 in “the little church around the corner” in New York City. Walter’s professional life started at Sikorsky Aircraft as a master scheduler and then as a local real estate agent. The lure of Florida’s weather drew Walter and Jean to retire to the charming city of St. Augustine in 1988.
