MERIDEN - William A. LeHerissier, 83, husband of the late Arlene E. LeHerissier, died Tuesday, April 2, 2002 surrounded by his loving family. Bill was born in Meriden on Aug 18, 1918, the son of the late Albert and Sally Guest LeHerissier and was a lifelong resident of Meriden and South Meriden. He was employed as a machinist/quality control inspector at International Silver Company until his retirement, and served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He is survived by his four loving daughters, Carole Williams and her husband Bill, Evelyn St. Onge, Patricia Singh and Brenda Shettleworth with whom he resided at the time of his death and a sister, Shirley Boland, eleven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren complete the family. Bill will be remembered by his family and friends for his sense of humor and joy he brought to each day of his life. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Beecher and Bennett Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. The Rev. Anne Jensen of St. Andrew Episcopal Church will officiate. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to call Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
